2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X

The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X represents one of the most significant performance milestones in the history of America’s sports car. The Corvette began in 1953, but the eighth generation’s move to a mid engine layout created opportunities once reserved for the world’s most exotic automobiles. The ZR1X takes that transformation to its extreme. Its twin turbocharged 5.5 liter LT7 V8 is paired with an electric motor driving the front axle, creating an electrified all wheel drive system with a combined 1,250 horsepower. Chevrolet announced performance targets placing the ZR1X among the quickest production automobiles in the world. More than seven decades after the first Corvette was introduced, the ZR1X demonstrates how far the model has evolved, transforming an American sports car icon into a machine designed to compete in the modern hypercar world.
