2025 Ferrari 296 GTS

The Ferrari 296 Challenge was created for competition, not simply transportation. Developed specifically for Ferrari’s one make Challenge racing series, it represents the latest chapter in a program that began in 1993 and has allowed Ferrari customers to compete on famous circuits around the world. Based on the 296 platform, the Challenge was extensively transformed for racing through increased aerodynamic performance, reduced weight, competition suspension, racing brakes, specialized tires, and comprehensive safety equipment. Unlike the road going 296 GTB and GTS, the Challenge does not use the road car’s hybrid system and relies on its twin turbocharged V6 for power. The 296 Challenge serves as an important connection between Ferrari’s road cars and its extraordinary motorsports heritage, demonstrating how technology, engineering, and experience developed through competition continue to shape the company’s modern performance automobiles.
